Yes, first and foremost danny and lucas were both one of my fav fighters but danny lost me as a fan. My dad was rooting for danny from the begining but midway through he was tired of his shameless low blows I think it took a lot out of matthysse ... that said a rematch would be fun to watch danny had the perfect hopkinish fight plan that worked but again he faded a bit late so maybe lucas has better legs and is able to catch him late

I loved the fight I feel Mathysse will do better in a rematch and Danny wont be as defensive maybe at 147 down the line

Danny took Lucas power punches very well. I wouldn't use the word easy to describe the fight but Danny was able to execute his game plan without many problems. I'm very impressed with his performance. Danny was able to hurt Matthysse and outbox him. A rematch isn't needed at the moment. Maybe they can have one down the line. Lucas needs to go back to the drawing board. He needed to throw straighter shots against Danny. Danny picked off a lot of those hooks too easily.

Their absolutely needs to be a rematch. It was a back and forth fight with each guy winning a rd or two and the other guy doing the same in turn. The eye controversy also helps out. Matthysse dominated the 2 rds before the eye problem. Eye took the steam out of that big time.

I'd love to see one, given the fact that Matthysse's eye swelling shut really took a lot of steam out of what was shaping up to be a tremendous fight, but I doubt we'll see it.

I'd like to see one. It was close and it seemed like the eye posted a big role.Lucas' corner screwed him lol. Good performance by Danny though.I think Lucas underestimated him

I wouldn't call the low blows shameless because the majority of them happened because Lucas was pulling Danny's head down. The last one was legit and he lost a point for that. Th first one was as well and Danny was warned. I don't think any of them were intentional. It was a very good fight.
