Their absolutely needs to be a rematch. It was a back and forth fight with each guy winning a rd or two and the other guy doing the same in turn. The eye controversy also helps out. Matthysse dominated the 2 rds before the eye problem. Eye took the steam out of that big time.

If Matthysse's eye didn't swell, I think he'd have won, probably by stoppage... IMO he was winning the fight up to that point, boxing really smart, using good defense and fighting responsibly behind the jab... As soon as he started turning up the heat, he got caught and his eye started swelling...

Once that happened, he had to protect it and couldn't throw the right hand anymore, nor could he see the left hook coming... It was a major handicap

A rematch is warranted but I wouldn't be as excited about it cuz the way his corner was handling his swelling, its libel to be a problem for him for the rest of his career

No rematch at this stage. Matthysse needs a couple fights before a potential rematch with Garcia to regain some momentum.

I would rather see Danny Garcia vs Zab Judah II than vs MAttysse as would be way more exciting. See if Danny can get the KO vs Judah or see if Judah can now get a KO or drop Danny...

Maybe they will get Zab Judah rematch before he fights Mayweather?

I doubt there's any chance of it, but sure. Like many Matthysse fans I'm sure, I'm completely disappointed both in the result and his performance, but it was still a very competitive and close fight. He was looking really good until the eye swelled.
