Their absolutely needs to be a rematch. It was a back and forth fight with each guy winning a rd or two and the other guy doing the same in turn. The eye controversy also helps out. Matthysse dominated the 2 rds before the eye problem. Eye took the steam out of that big time.

Tonight's fight didn't warrant an immediate rematch. I don't think DSG will be at 140 much longer anyway, I don't think we'll see a rematch and I'm not too upset about that.

Danny beat him pretty clearly, it's wasn't a domination, but it was evident who the winner was. Also, Garcia will likely go up to 147 regardless if he checks in his Mayweather ticket or not.

I picked Matthysse to win and KTFO Danny but all respect goes to Garcia he dominated and outboxed, outclassed Mathysse fair and square. I don't know if I'll go so far to say he "exposed" him but it was damn close to an "expose" type situation

Matthysse got dominated from round 5 onwards. Watching it back as I'm posting this, and it is quite clear Danny was the best man on the night. If it has been any other fighter putting up a performance like that, nobody would want a rematch.
