According to Canelo, Mayweather first requested 147, and then went up to 150, and then 151 - and at that point Canelo countered and said he was willing to shed two pounds in order to make the fight happen.

If he want to fight welterweights go down in weight. If he want to be a real 154 pound fighter you had chances to fight Kirkland, Molina, Lara and Angulo.

Dude should just be happy he's getting scholarship money to get a boxing lesson Saturday night.

Cause maybe team Floyd lied, asked them to be quiet and then had ellerbe spill a bunch of nonsense, maybe??

Ohh yeah and Floyd is a 2 time (going for 3) jr middleweight champ. So called era's greatest, pfp king and an atg. But wants to fight the lesser Canelo at welterweight. I find that strange.

          • Notice that the posters who criticize floyd fans for believing what floyd says just because he says it and without any verification are the same posters who do the EXACT same thing when someone says something negative about floyd.

            • Canelo is gonna get dominated. I see him, his fans and Floyd haters are already coming up with excuses etc.

                • [QUOTE=chargerhemi06;13731650]Lol to all the people saying it's canelo fault for accepting the catchweight. Bull****! I bet your the same people crying about Cotto getting whooped by pacquiao because of the catchweight.

If you sign a fight at a catch weight then it doesnt matter who brought it up. You agree to what comes with it good or bad. Doesn't matter if you are Oscar, Cotto, Margarito, Canelo etc. You signed up for it so take what comes with it.

                  • Someone mentioned Canelo will come in at around 167 on the night.
I heard there was a weight limit on the night. Is this true??

                    • You didn't have to sign the contract Opie Cunningham. Just come with a back up plan but it won't help you anyway. Sorry Floyd haters you know deep down Floyd is going to win.
