He must of known that Canelo couldn't possibly make 147 seeing as how he had trouble making a previous catchweight at JMW. Why would he want the fight at 147? He wanted it for two reasons. 1 he didn't think Canelo would accept and he was using weight as a means to duck Canelo similar to the Pacquiao, testing/$40Million situation or 2 He he thought Canelo would accept but would be a walking corpse come fight night.
