From recent history, Canelo is the one real live body in a while for Floyd. Closest was Cotto...who was shot after 2 wars with Margarito & Pacquiao. I still believe it will be a battle of the judges, because Floyd will not be "fighting."

I agree; I actually had Gomez winning the fight before the stoppage.

Outside of that knockdown in the first round, Canelo was getting outworked by Gomez

You really believe got that big he may be taller but Canelo frame is a hell of a lot bigger than Oscar. Neither got on the fight night scale. Canelo is bigger than Ortiz also

Yes, he was at least 170+ on fight night against Mayweather. You couple that with the fact that he's 5"10 with a deadly ass "PROVEN" left hook and in my book Oscar was the bigger/stronger fighter

He was tho. You can look at them and tell.

Put it like this. Oscar actually fought at 160 several times. Canelo has the "potential" to fight at 160. When DLH fought Floyd, he "ALREADY" did fight at 160 against big ass Hopkins.

            DLH was the bigger fighter

Oscar struggled like hell vs B-Hop and Strum he looked a Aids patient when comparing body type to Bernard in that fight. Oscar didn't look to mucher bigger than Floyd than how Canelo looked when him and Floyd Faced off and Floyd is bigger now than in 07.

The fact that Floyd needs a catchweight for this fight is more than enough evidence to prove exactly just how dangerous Floyd thinks Canelo is. It's real easy to sit here and talk crap about the kid, but floyd's actions are more telling than that.

Even the older DLH that he faced was better than Canelo.

Canelo may be thick and muscular but he doesnt know how to use his strength correctly

                    How so?

Floyd has looked like crap in both his fights at 154. I don't agree with the catchweight; Floyd just doesn't need to fight at 154 because it's not a good weight for him.

But the catchweight is more based on Floyd's previous two fights @ 154, than Canelo... He fought Oscar to a SD and Cotto bloodied his nose and gave him one of the toughest fights in his life according to Mayweather.

Again, this catchweight is because Floyd just doesn't fight really well at 154, not cause Canelo is bigger/better than Oscar

In all honesty the greatest thing Oscar did at 154 is get jobbed by Mosley. (Oscar won that fight). However he was a part time fighter by then and a known party man. I consider it safe to say that Canelo right now is a better jr middleweight than that.

And Floyd does need the catchweight because he sees that too. He never expected Canelo to beat Trout, He seen the kid handle a big, strong, skilled jr middleweight and knew he'd be pressured into the fight and decided to enforce a catchweight to his advantage.
