You have some people who are just reaching for just any type of confidence in Canelo but this happens every time going into a Mayweather fight

They are overrated his size and his Power and his Weight advantage because really that is the only thing they can say he has over Mayweather so yeah if you hate Mayweather your going to focus on those things

Read this back to yourself, and try to understand how groupiesh this sounds. Just try, and step out of your skin and read this from a normal boxing fan's perspective.

      I bet you can't.

Really I'm still shocked that the same people still don't give Canelo at least a little respect, especially after the Trout fight, where Canelo was supposed to be "outclassed" by him. What does Canelo have to do to change people's mind about him?

Canelo has De La Hoya syndrome. He'll never get the respect because he had too many fans so early in his career.

When he beats Floyd the excuses will come running in.

To say Canelo has no shot at winning is pure is ******; he has the best shot at beating Floyd than anybody in between 140-154. I think Floyds beats him but wouldn't be shocked if Canelo won.

He's definitely big, young, and strong. I don't know how anybody can argue against that, and he may just be the biggest and strongest guy Floyd has faced (I don't bother with an opinion there). But those aren't the components to automatically win you a boxing match, especially not against somebody of Floyd's caliber. Margarito was bigger and stronger than Pacquiao. Donaire was bigger and stronger than Rigondaux. Foreman was bigger and stronger than Ali, and so. I just don't think Canelo is in Floyd's class, and his size and strength will be neutralized as the fight prolongs.

I guess cause that was back when floyd was at his best although he hasn't shown the signs too much he is older now. Also I suppose DLH was on the decline but Canelo is on the way up. Canelo imo has a great shot at winning not the favorite obviously but certainly the best shot imo since oscar himself. I would say he is naturally the biggest and strongest guy floyd has faced. That's why this is getting the attention it is. he is bigger than floyd stronger than floyd, good at setting traps has proved he isn't just a dumb brawler and can actually box and is getting better all the time.

I'd definitely favor the oscar Floyd fought over Canelo. Canelo is simply just not that good. He's not as good as the Vargas Tito or Oscar fought for that matter either. Is he big and strong? I guess. But who has he really looked big and strong against? If it was a young Vargas against Matthew hatton and Ryan Rhodes he would have decimated and demolished them
