Why are people saying Canelo is the biggest strongest Floyd has faced?

If you are saying Oscar was the better more dangerous opponent all round, then i guess there is an argument there.

But Canelo is the best opponent Floyd could face right now. And yes, he is being hyped. But also has the biggest potential to pull off the upset since Oscar.

Being bigger and stronger, and being faster and more experienced are totally different things.

So you cant say Canelo isnt the biggest strongest opponent, because Oscar was faster and more experienced. Thats like saying Canelo isnt that fast because Oscar is married.

I get the contradiction in recent statements about catchweights. But, in my book, Floyd isn't really a JMW... He just isn't.. That's why when people say if he beats Canelo he'll be some kind of "Lineal" champ, I disagree. Because, again, Canelo's whole claim to fame is Austin Trout right now, who in himself wasn't fighting the top guys in the division.

Kirkland, Lara, Angulo, Williams, Molina, etc were all in the mix at 154 by fighting each other. Floyd and Canelo were never in this mix which is why I can't really say that either of them are really proven JMW's.... And regarding Floyd, rightfully so. He shouldn't be fighting the above guys because quite frankly, he doesn't belong in the weight class.

Kinda similar to saying Manny Pacquiao is a former JMW champ. No he isn't. But at least with Floyd he's actually beaten someone at 154 before realizing he's just not big enough to cut it.

FLoyd would probably fight Kirkland, Angulo, Lara and God knows who else at a catchweight also.

I'm not sure why it's hard for you to understand that this catchweight is more to do with the fact that Floyd is just really damn small over Canelo being some killer.

Let me guess, Floyd saw how Canelo obliterated Josisto Lopez and schit his pants. Or Floyd saw all those amateurish punches against Austin Trout and schit his pants again. Or maybe it was the Alphonzo Gomez fight that has Floyd so scared?

No, it's the fact that Floyd just isn't a big JMW and can't even come in at 154 if he wanted too. Not because Canelo is bigger/stronger than DLH. That theory is really subjective being that Canelo's track record against guys his own size isn't proven.

At least DLH KO'd guys his own size at 154, unless you're counting Carlos Baldomir or somethin or that one English dude
