Bullschit... Comparing someone's handspeed when they're fighting Mathew Hatton vs Someone who fought all the elite's of an era is night and day.

DLH put together some fast, powerful combos against Floyd. Canelo doesn't even come close

What does Canelo not being able to KO Trout even have to do with anything? Your name is BoxingGenius but you don't even know that styles make fights. It is very difficult to look good vs someone like Trout. And Trout is obviously a more technical boxer than Mayorga is. HE doesn't get hit as much.

      Stop trolling
You don't think DLH fought his fair share's of guys like Austin Trout?

I was talking about "power" punching power... Not how bad Canelo looked against Trout

People are saying he's bigger and stronger than DLH because he KO'd Josesito Lopez and fcukin Alphonzo Gomez. Give me a break
The Lopez and Gomez fights were mismatches. No one is saying Canelo is better than DLH career wise so far. I'm only saying Canelo is harder challenge for Mayweather compared to when DLH fought Mayweather

Tell me what Canelo has accomplished at 154 to make you think he's better than DLH at 154?

again we aren't comparing careers right now. We are comparing the opponent vs Mayweather.

on a side note, who has DLH fought in his career that was similar to Trout? (as in someone who has a style that makes it hard to look good with)

Ummmmm off the top of my head Pernell Whitaker...

And if we're not talking opponents and accomplishments than what are we talking about? Josesito Lopez and how big Canelo was when he stepped in the ring against him?

Maybe we should judge this after we see how Canelo fares against Floyd then judge who was a better opponent.

                    Boxing Genius,

You might want to change your name.

Trout is a completely different fighter to Mayorga. To compare their fights is silly.

Mayorga has been stopped five times. To my knowledge Trout has only been down the once.

I'm not saying that Trout has a better chin than Mayorga but his style is one that means he doesn't get hit as much.

I'm not sure what your agenda is in this thread but you're not looking too clever at the moment.
