"I never recovered from the punch", yeah we've noticed, perhaps you shouldn't give any more interviews til you do recover...

then again he probably had won every round, we'll have to ask frank warren that

Kovalev didn't land all that much clean in the first two rounds even though he did win them. Cleverly partially blocked a lot of his punches, I don't think he was doing that bad - he didn't throw nearly enough to win the early rounds though. Think he was just trying to weather the storm.

cleverly certainly did better than Conelius white, campillo, dernell boone and lionel Thompson.

Is there any way to give Cleverly any round?

He lost every minute of every round. It was one of the most one sided World Title fights in history

Well, I'm sure that's what he's telling himself so he could build up his confidence. Nothing wrong with that but if they fought again, the same thing will happen.

Only problem being Nath forgot to stay on his feet for it. And yeah he lost every round and shouldn't have stepped up until Kov was at least 40 years old.

At some point he has to acknowledge that he is only Brit level.

This is the difference between him and his mentor Joe Cal. Joe knew deep down his limits, a direct quote from his mouth, even though he pretended he was a world champion with the wbo title - he was happy to stay in Europe fighting at a maximum of eurolevel opponents for a decade. This was why he was so shy of chasing the prime big guns, because he knew he'd get beat down several times over. Joe knew his limits (but pretended he was better than them), Nath doesn't know his limits and thinks he really is better than he is.

Dewd, it's been almost five years since Sir Joe last fought and we already have one committed Calzaghe hater on these boards. Bernard and Roy have probably gotten over their thorough, one-sided thrashings at the hands of the Welsh wizard and I think it's about time that you did as well.

Yes, he's delusional but I think that, after how he was beaten, he needs to think that if he didn't get "caught" then he could have pulled it out with his boxing ability.

In actuality, Kov outworked him to the head and body while still being, at the very least, defensively responsible.

Sure, Kov wasn't always hitting him clean but, by Cleverly's own admission, every shot that Kov even touched him with hurt and Kov DID touch him because Cleverly decided to stand right in front of him.
