Why is it important who is winning after two rounds? A ko loss is still a loss.

If you are British and fighting in the UK and you are standing on your feet you are winning the fight.

Cleverley was well on his way to a 113-112 113-112 105-120 split decision victory thanks to a few friendly judges.

Remember when Brian almost beat Torretto in FNF1, just trust me it's important.

Well, Nath did land some slaps on Kov so technically that's a tko stoppage awarded TO CLEV according to Calzaghe's old referee pal.

Only problem being Nath forgot to stay on his feet for it. And yeah he lost every round and shouldn't have stepped up until Kov was at least 40 years old.

Cleverly was soundly beaten in all rounds. However, I won't criticise his assumptions. After a brutal defeat like that it will probably do his psyche some good to take whatever positives he can from the fight, however false they may be.

personally I think denial will do him no good, except for being part of his natural recovery process of getting back to normality.

At some point he has to acknowledge that he is only Brit level.

This is the difference between him and his mentor Joe Cal. Joe knew deep down his limits, a direct quote from his mouth, even though he pretended he was a world champion with the wbo title - he was happy to stay in Europe fighting at a maximum of eurolevel opponents for a decade. This was why he was so shy of chasing the prime big guns, because he knew he'd get beat down several times over. Joe knew his limits (but pretended he was better than them), Nath doesn't know his limits and thinks he really is better than he is.

Why would he come out and say this when he was so convincingly beat down!
