Nope. But he does have a better resume than the Klitschkos.

Like I said, the only fights considered him to be impressive in is the Moreno fight and Agbeko 1 fight and the only fight he looked like P4P calibur was the Moreno fight.

Gonzalez beating Mares is a huge win obviously, it's just not as good as beating Froch.
You should watch it again, he looked pretty good on my opinion, especially for being small at 126.

Mares would be smart to go back to 122 though too. He could easily make weight there probably.

I'm not flipping anything. He entered with his best win being a past it Miranda, and he was a rising star...it was risky of his management to put him in.

I agree he had the least challenging schedule but Froch and Kessler alone is more than anyone thought he'd have done

He's a solid Featherweight I think, he comes to the ring at 130 lbs.

I don't know, he didn't look impressive at all to be other than his power.

                I think that was Gonzalez.

                Not 100% sure though.

I thought it said Mares was 130.

That's true but in this case you have to look at their current records and it doesn't apply here. Has Ward ever lost to the caliber of fighters that Gonzalez has lost to? No he has not. He has shown a better chin and overall has dominated top fighters in much more impressive fashion. I don't even see how this is up for debate unless there is genuine hatred for Ward.

Ward has cleaned out a division,,, and is the lineal champ at 168, plus has a win over the lineal 175 champ albeit at 168..

gonzalez has never cleaned out a division, and to my knowledge never the lineal champ

thats my rationale,, both guys have good resumes, but i give the nod to ward

Ward has dominated top level opposition without any defeats, can't see how a case can be made for Gonzalez.
