I like to think the ref won that fight. Taylor whooped his ass all night and the ref stepped in and stole it from Taylor with seconds to go.

So, what happened when Pac fought Sanchez? He could only sc**** by with a draw, and it was a very lucky draw at that. He would have lost if not for points deducted from Sanchez.

What about when he nearly got stopped, probably would have if not for ref intervention, against Nedal Hussein.

What about when he did get stopped, twice, by Torrecampo and Singsurat? Singsurat close to John's level, but Torrecampo? Most think Marquez won too. Pac got KTFO. Twice. Now thrice.

Most thought Marquez won the fight, even with the point deductions against him and a dodgy ref.

So, he lost a close fight that most thought he should have won against a guy that hasn't lost a fight in his entire career, has the second most defenses of any featherweight titlist ever, has the second longest reign of any featherweight titlist ever and is among the longest reigning champions today.

Pac got KTFO out by a dude that got knocked out by a local janitors favourite punching bag.

Who mentioned surperhuman? I could easily have said trains as hard as Hopkins, or Pacquiao, or Ward, or Floyd, or Martinez.....They're professional athletes. It's all they do. They all train hard at that level. If they focus on one area of their training, it's going to increase ten times as fast as your typical fat prick trolling NSB that thinks doing ten bench presses is heavy ****.

Someone said he gained bulk impossibly quick, I said that he'd been training with someone specifically to gain muscle and bulk for well over a year by the time he stopped Pacquiao.

It's a very human accomplishment, especially for a pro athlete. What superhuman attributes and fights against Russians have to do with anything, I don't know.

He is a borderline ATG for me , he has an exciting style when he fights offensive fighters . he is a good contender but he only has 2 significant wins against Pacquiao and Diaz , he lost to Chris John too, He lost to Barrera , it was one of the worst robberies I have ever seen . , Mayweather toyed with him , Morales would kill him in the ring , I expect Bradley to UD him , .....


Whenever I read the name Marquez , I remember Norton who is still arguing he won all his 3 fights against Ali today .

He is and I'm one of the biggest pac fans around. His resume' outside of pac fights makes him a fist ballot and his legendary fights against pac made him an ATG.

Take Pacquiao out of his résumé. His whole career is based on Pacquiao. All other opposition were C rated, my opinion won't matter and hell get in eventually even though he juiced.
