Good for Lucas to cancel the tour, it is just nonsense to do the tour right now, specially for Lucas. Danny's right, just do the talking in ring. The event promotes itself.

I dont know how its "not smart" for a fighter to continue the rhythm of training camp instead of going for a week long tour thousands of miles away. Yea Lucas is taking Garcia seriously, please explain how thats a bad thing.

These Cat's don't realize, how far the Pampas, is from NY,
then on top of the 10 hour trip, he get's another 8 hours,
to Rico and L.A. then another 10 back to the Argentine!
The TOUR does absolutely nothing for Lucas or Danny.

I'm not trying to hear nothing you guys have to say concerning this matter because I've read soooo many posts on boxingscene about Danny being scared, shook and nervous to see Matthysse but now Matthysse is the one not showing up to the press conferences to see Garcia? They are not May and Canelo so it would be good just to reach out to some people but he said no? I thought this guy was a machine beast? How could a 3 city tour take away any of his physical attributes or advantages? I thought he said Danny Garcia was not a problem?

Good post. Now they are crying. They are defending their bandwagon hero yet they will cry that he has no promotion when nobody pays to watch him. They think that people will remember him just because he is the co main event. You better hope and pray Matthysse wins. Casual fans always remember the main event as a great fight or stinker, but they remember. Diehards will remember the co main event.

Lol @ these people playing word games. Either that or they didn't read the article. He didnt show up cause there was NO tour. He simply declined a press tour over training. Its impossible to skip or not show up to something that was NEVER there.

The only thing this proves to me is that Matthysse ain't as good or smart as everyone thinks he is. Big stage might be a lot for him to handle.

Sooo... not wanting to do a press tour means he isn't good? How did you come to that conclusion?

These Danny fans must hang out with his pops and must smoke the same ish cause they sound just as ******ed.
