In their fourth and most brutal fight, the two boxers exchanged knockdowns in the earlier rounds - but Marquez landed a perfect counter in the close seconds of the sixth round. That final blow as all Marquez needed. Pacquiao was knocked unconscious and went down face first.

Of course he's "stressed," how could he not be, he's a human being? His last fight was an almost career defining loss, so yeah I'm sure his current fortitude has been on his mind. When someone who thinks they're Superman turn out not to be, don't you think that person would ponder why they couldn't fly or why they fell short? I'm sure he's really questioning himself and whether his next fight will be his last. No fighter would want to conceive of ending their career on a losing note but Manny is flirting with that very real possibility.

What is Manny supposed to say, that he's shot and will likely face several brutal beatings in the future if he chooses to continue? He may not be that bad off but that last fight really suggests otherwise.

Of course Pac would fight the loser of JMM-Bradley. He's been getting his ass kissed all these years for fighting guys coming off loses. Why stop now?

Didn't Hatton say the same thing? Or does this logic only work in Pac's favor?

Poor guy, he keeps losing vs cherry picked guys who don't even fight at WW. I hope Pac wins this next one.

It will look really bad if he loses to another cherry pick at WW. He's come a long way since his last legit WW fight. You know, when he last fought a REAL WW who had been winning and/or held a title AT WW.

Lets hope Rios who's moving up in weight gets put to sleep with an unlucky shot.

A boxer deluded about losing? That never happens!

The brutal knock out didn't just crack his hype in the ring, it also cracked the hype that he is the epitome of good sportsmanship. Marquez didn't get a lucky break, his skill, endurance, and science allowed him to land that counter.
