I knew Golovkin`s team was gonna turn down a fight with Stevens, after seeing how Stevens disposed his last opponent. If i were Stevens,i would have tried to look crappy as possible in the last fight,to lure Golovkin into a fight. You know the old bate and switch tactic.

Golovkin`s and his team are gonna hand pick weak opponents to make Golovkin look like the next Marvin Hagler. And Golovkin groupies are gonna continue to say that the entire division is running scared of Golovkin.

Golovkin has earned his spot and his rep. however for a guy who's lacking top quality opponents why not Stevens? a guy who's coming off a big KO win.

the fight would help boost Golovkin's beast status

Chavez is moving up and GGG won't fight at the full 168 (sorry but that's an actual fact, his team didn't wanted Rodriguez at the full 68)

Quillen is with GBP and let's be honest he's just keeping that title warm for Canelo. plus HBO and GBP don't work together.

so I think Abel Sanchez is blowing smoke when he mentions those two names.

I think at the end of the day Stevens would be a good fight for Golovkin because if he doesn't fight somebody calling him out and fights a B/C level guy, the whole most avoided billing kind of fades.

You right about GB keeping Quillin title warm for Canelo, but that`s if Canelo can make it to the scorecards. As long as Canelo makes it to the score cards he wins regardless if he deserved the decision or not.

Its funny how you people say Stevens is too green for Golovkin,as if Golovkin is some super skilled fighter who beat tons of great opposition. Golovkin hasn`t fought any live bodies and his defense is not much better then Stevens. And Golovkin gets hit a lot, just watch Golovkins fight with Ishida and Rosado.

Lets face it,the people that are saying Stevens is too green,is scared sh3tless that Golovkin may get ko`ed.If Golovkins gets ko`ed then who are their great hope to beat Mayweather? And Who are they gonna say Mayweather is ducking to make Floyd look bad? lol.

Yeah your praying for that to happen,so GGG could have a excuse not to fight any fighters that pose even the slightest threat to him.

Yeah a so-called perceive threat who be called a bum or weight drained if Floyd beats him.Golovkin has 27 fights,Stevens have 28 fights, both have terrible defense, neither fighters are great technicians,Stevens is a lot shorter then GGG, but yet the excuses you people have is Stevens is too green. You people are afraid that a midget may expose the hype-job GGG lol.

I wont be surprised if Stevens get knocked out again, cause he takes actual risk when it comes to choosing opposition;unlike GGG who will cherrypick his way to the promise land. And he has his groupies like yourself that will call him an all time great, and they will say he took on all comers lol.
