Prime Wlad, fully fit, gassed himself out by pounding out without pacing, thinking he was George Foreman and could knock anyone out if he just kept going. Later Wlad realised that he was only good at knocking out gassed opponents, and picked them so that they would gass fast so that he could move in and KO them with ease.

Numbers are tricky, it also depends on who you fought and who you didn't fight.

I don't blame Wlad for not fighting his brother, but having his brother fighting Sanders after he got KO'ed is another matter.

However, even though Holmes didn't fight in the best HW era he still has victories over Norton, Shavers, Whiterspoon, Cooney and Berbick, even disregarding a faded Ali it's a damn good resume, better than Wlad's , in my opinion.
