I absolutely reckon he could beat some of the top 20 fighters at this moment in time.
I just hope Fury won't side track him. Hughie might be a real deal.

Haven't gone through all the pages, so someone has probably already pointed this out, but I've gone through enough pages to be surprised it hasn't been pointed out more emphatically. Holmes never held more than one belt at a time, and there were originally 2, then 3 major belts while he was champ. He held the nonlineal belt, was given credit for lineal status his 7th or 8th fight upon beating an ancient Ali. Meanwhile Wlad has 3 (debatably 4) belts during this championship run, starting immediately with 2 belts. That said, number of title defenses is (slightly) more impressive than time held. If Wlad winds up with more consecutive title defenses than Holmes (which would be over a much longer time), that would all combine to be vastly more impressive than Holmes streak. Especially considering he held a belt before this streak. Even more so because he has been much more dominant in his defenses than Holmes was over that streak. Its still a ways off, but if it does happen, at that point, any legitimate discussion over who is better, who has the more impressive resume is over. Only completely irrational haters will dispute it. At this stage, its debatable, but I'll give the slight edge to Holmes as far as resume (not head to head, which would be complete domination by Wlad).

Someone could hold a thousand belts , everyone knows Holmes was the champ. He beat the man. Just because someone picked up a vacant WBA belt and passed along around 10 times in a decade doesn't negate that fact.

For example, who's the super middle weight champion? That's right.

Let's have it real; the only requisite for being a heavyweight title challenger today is to be heavy.

The division is a rotting carcass.

Sometimes he is. But he lets his hate cloud his judgement to a crazy extent. He also back pedals as soon as he can't back something up.

you're a good poster, but you're not the only guy in the thread (and keep in mind, i said "these threads," meaning that there are others about which i am speaking,) unless you got a slew of alts of your own, rofl.
