That'll never happen, and even if it did and Wladimir won, that moron would come back with some limp excuse [Vitali is shot/Wladimir doesn't fight prime HWs et al]. If you take Vitali out of the equation, Wladimir has fought David Haye who was ranked number 3, and will be fighting Povetkin next, who is a guy that has been ranked in the top 5 for some years now.

He's still bruised from David Haye's pathetic showing.
Let's just agree on one thing everyone. Wlad never ducked or dodged nobody (except for Sanders and Purrity) and has fought the best available to him which is more or less all you can expect from a champion.

With regards to his brother, in my opinion, it does take a little away from his legacy, but then again, in 50 years time it will be unheard of that two brothers ran the division and destroyed anyone in their path. That's a huge legacy in itself, but people will always be discussing who would win. But Wlad ranks higher.

My issue with Wlad is I think he's chosen some crappy fights over the last couple of years. Plus he's a tad unexciting, but each to its own.

I disregard anyone who tells me he's **** or that he's not fighting the best he can. Because he is, 85% of the time, and that is pretty high for a heavyweight champion lets not forget.

All champions had criticism. It's nothing new. Lennox got it, Holmes got it, Tyson got it, hell, even Ali got it. Criticism just comes with being champion, because people want to find someone who can beat you. It's just his job to beat those people, which he has been doing.

    Simple as that.

nevertheless, you cannot assume he will still hate on Wlad ONCE he did face and KOed by Vitali. I for one would certainly view Wlad with more respect even though hes lying face down flat out on the floor (Vitali would mince him). Because at least he would have acted like a champion for one of the few times in his career.

Still credit to Wlad for proving he can beat a champion from the lower weight divisions in Haye (who was never the HW champion if we are being honest).

And full credit to Wlad for keeping so well conditioned so many so so long years,it takes perserverance to keep it going on the road to 40.

LOL, pretty sure you called Haye a 'legit HW contender' in a thread a while back.

you understand that a contender is lower than a champion, so why write what you just wrote?

I am aware, yes. You're just tripping over yourself, that's all. You're blinded by hate.

Haye was WBA champion, there's no denying that.

It's OK, though. You'll have a few more years of Klitschko dominance yet!

It's kind of annoying he's only 18, which means we'll have to wait at least a year or two before he moves on from the journeyman level.

I absolutely reckon he could beat some of the top 20 fighters at this moment in time.
