Why did DLH weigh in at 145 for the Pac fight?

I laugh at people like you that are fully aware that Oscar was severely weight drained and yet you want to give Manny credit for beating a man that was in POW type condition , nobody blames Manny for Oscars shape but you only beat what you beat and Oscar was an easybeat that night .
Thats bc ur a fkn idiot! But nobody faults u for ur ignorance 'redy' yet they still let u talk! Lmbo just close ur eyes and plug ur ears and pretend that dlh didnt know what he was doing! Haha point is! Pacq got the job done! Bottom lineComment

You can't rewrite history after the fact, this was viewed as a DLH cherrypick and most though agreeing Manny is better p4p but because of the size difference thought would get destroyed.
If DLH didn't prepare properly its his fault and all credit got Manny for winning in dominant fashion when he was the underdog.Comment

I'm sure you feel the exact same way about Floyd vs Diego Corrales. Floyd should not get much credit either since Diego Corrales was severely weight drained, had the flu and was thinking about going to jail for a while. Actually should be worse since nobody was giving Manny any chance to beating Oscar. Some called it a farce because they thought Oscar would destroy Manny.Oscar was deadman walking that night ANY top class WW would have beat him , even LW Steve Forbes would have beat him that night and Steve made him look bad at 150 in his previous fight , that was warning signs 147 was going to be trouble .
Oscar had not been at 147 for over 10 yrs , he weighed in at 145 and gained 2 lbs by fight night and need IV fluids to do it , Pac weighed more than him on the night , it was the worst case of a weight drained fighter I can ever remember an elite guy to be .
Not Mannys fault at all , but a no big win because of how badly Oscar fcked up .Comment

Well said.Oscar made weight in a foolish way. He was under 147 for weeks before the fight instead of the standard way of drying out to lose the last few pounds a day or so before the fight and then rehydrating in the 32 hours between the weigh in and the fight. He had been so light for so long that he was unable to put any weight back on. His body had sort of shut down. If he had made the weight in the same way that he did when he was fighting as a welterweight for years I think he would have been fine and he would have come into the ring weighing at least 155 lbs.Comment

Chico was not weight drained. That is an excuse that you guys gave for him. He kept trucking, and he fought like a guy who knew he had to chase a guy and wound up not realizing that Floyd could truly fight, and got his ass whooped.I'm sure you feel the exact same way about Floyd vs Diego Corrales. Floyd should not get much credit either since Diego Corrales was severely weight drained, had the flu and was thinking about going to jail for a while. He was heavily favored to win because it at the time was a cherrypick due to Pac just recently moving from 130 to 135 beating Diaz and then the fight being contested at 147, thats the way it happened and its too bad DLH came into the fight in such poor form but Manny did his job took on what was supposed to be a challenge and easily won.Comment

This is the best answer in this thread. He was thinking in advance, Oscar was so confident he could beat little Manny, that he decided to weigh under, so nobody would call him out for fighting a small featherweight he would say but I weighed less than him on fight night! after he visualized him knocking out Pacman to reclaim the p4p throne and call out Floyd for a rematch at the postfight. Backfired on his ass though.Comment
