Why did DLH weigh in at 145 for the Pac fight?

He came in the weigh in at 145 for a 147 fight that he initially agreed on, yet all we talk about how he was drained..

I could be wrong, but did he not drain himself more?

Drained or not he was over the hill and a ghost of his former self, my only problem is with people who actually try and credit that win for Manny like Oscar was in his prime or something. Oscar in his prime beats Manny handily.

Because he was an idiot trying to cherry pick someone who had 1 fight at lightweight, and karma came full force and kicked him in the ass and retired him from the sport to the fans delight.

I give Manny full credit for beating and retiring Oscar, why?because he was cherry picked,Oscar was suppose to fight the winner of Cotto-Margarito but instead chose a person with 1 damn fight at lightweight.I can watch that fight all day everyday,it always puts a smile on my face

Good post. It's like a more extreme version of Floyd Mosley. Both had risk upfront (Pac much more), both had opponents coming in washed up (DLH is much worse shape). So you gotta give credit for the risk taken, if not for the performance needed to overcome such opponent. Here it's double hard to take anything away, cause DLH dug his own grave with that outrageous cherrypick.

              This is exactly what happened.

The historical revisionism that goes on when it comes to this fight is scary. This fight has somehow become the start of Pac's catchweight draining reign of terror.

To Oscar's credit, he did weigh 147 lbs on the scales at home but he forgot that at the official weigh-in he would not be wearing a braw and fishnets.

This was oscar's fault...kudos to Manny for the win but yes, Oscar was drained but he only has himself to blame...Manny did his job...

Oscar tried to seize every advantage against Manny like did tried with Floyd and it backfired both times.lol..

Funny how he moved Floyd up and Manny up, yet he lost handidly to them both...and 1 put him into retirement...lol..

I think after reading all the negative comments he wanted to try and win at a weight similar to what Pacquiao weighs, he went too far and handed Pacquiao an easy win.
