I think Canelo will take a page put of May vs Cotto. He'll have developed a pretty decent jab and try to mix it with some aggressive brawling and some boxing if Floyd lets him fight his own game.

But if he relies solely on a jab, Floyd will match him jab for jab and win that shootout.

It'll come down to who will dictate the fight.

I think Canelo may start well, but will begin to unravel by the 4th or 5th round. His stamina and foot speed suck, so unless something has dramatically changed by fight time, he is going to get embarrassed.

mayweather is not invincible or a monster puncher (unless you let him sucker punch), he is a very good fighter, but alvarez has more than just he jab-he counters well lokk what happened to trout.

Well thats the only punch Mayweather has problems with but Canelo doesnt have a jab like Cotto's . Cotto's jab is almost like a power punch.

Wow! Oscar must want this guy out of his company pretty badly. It seems personal.

Oscar advice is pointless because Canelo doesn't have a good jab like Cotto

The jab distracts your opponent from the follow up punches, you do not need a master jab just a jab decent enough it unsettles your opponent and forces him to reset. Canelo may not have the prettiest jab but ask Trout it's pretty effective..if and when Floyd tries to take the jab away from him that's when he needs to switch up and bring the pain if he wants any shot at winning.

Oscar has become so lame in his attempts to sell a fight. He's trying to appeal to the casual fight watcher and that's it. My mom buys it every time, even to go as far as to bet on Ricky Hatton vs Floyd. I took that money too. Think I didnt?!
