I think Oscar's advice about the job is good, but Canelo doesn't have a great jab. So using the jab won't get him far. And he's not gonna develop one within the next month. But hey, he's gotta do something.

I think Oscar would of had a better chance at beating Floyd without Roach in his corner that night. Oscar looked his best when Floyd Sr was his trainer. But of course Big Floyd wouldn't train anyone to beat Lil Floyd.
Canelo needs to take both Oscar and Duran's advice. He has to make it a rugged fight and ugly. He can't let Floyd fight at his pace. He needs to jab his way in and attack the body and not worry about Floyd's head in the early rounds. Thinking he will out box Floyd is down right ignorant. He has to make it a street fight and force Floyd to stay flatfooted. If he can do that, he will force that dragon to sprout his wings and breath fire as Bro ****m said. You will see a very entertaining fight at that point. That is the only style Canelo can bring in the ring that night to have a chance of winning. That will force Floyd to think more offensively to keep Canelo off of him. Hopefully for Canelo, that will leave some openings in the exchanges to catch him with something big.

In the Trout fight, Canelo landed only 28 jabs (out of 207 thrown) -- 14%.
