It is always Key against Any Fighter...but it has to be a GOOD/GREAT Jab against Mayweather, it just can't be one that is thrown out just because it worked for Cotto and Oscar

Mayweather even at 36 is still extremely quick and smart, he can adjust on the fly and switch things up and show you a different style you probably did not even prepare for in camp

Sure it is things that are EFFECTIVE against Mayweather and a good Jab is one of those things but what they don't tell other fighters that Mayweather adjusted to Oscar Jab and started hitting him with his own Jab to the body and that pretty much made Oscar put his Jab away. The man like him or not is multidimensional and extremely unpredictable, you really don't know what is coming when fighting him your just hoping you can catch him or your just hoping he has a off night pretty much

Oscar came close, so did cotto,, but in reality nobody has been able to defeat him....

I honestly think that the key to beating floyd would be handspeed,,, Judah did good but judah cant make adjustments and got brokendown....
A guy like alexander, khan, manny, etc that are super fast are the only type of fighter that we havent seen floyd fight..
Take away the zab fight and floyds resume is nothing but slow guys...
      genaro
      manfredy
      corrales
      JLC
      famoso
      chavez
      N'dou
      chop-chop
      gatti
      baldomir
      oscar
      hatton
      jmm
      mosely
      ortiz
      cotto
      ghost
      canelo

None of these guys are considered fast-handed fighters.... mosely and oscar maybe in their younger years but not when they fought floyd....

Shane ducked Floyd until he was broke. Pac wouldn't do the drug testing in 2009 though Floyd agreed to his ridiculous 5 million per lb weight penalty, and Floyd wore Zab down. Floyd beat Oscar 8 rds to 4 on most reasonable cards, and Floyd beat Cotto 8 or 9 rds out of 12 and was on the verge of KOing Cotto late. Though I'll concede Cotto's jab did give Floyd problems.

And regarding Oscar? It's the same dumb shidt from him everytime Floyd fights. Oscar is obsessed with "the jab" because he didn't throw it enough when he fought Floyd and in his coked out mind, he probably thinks he would have won had he thrown it more. No, Floyd would have ducked it, then countered Oscar and beat him worse. Oscar quit throwing late because Floyd starting tagging him and Oscar was running out of gas while Floyd's superior conditioning was kicking in.

Anything else I need to clear up around here? If so, just let me know.

Not sure if I would look at Oscar's advice vs Floyd. I would seriously look take a very close look at the Cotto approach and apply some control pressure with volume. Either way Canepo has no chance and I think that Floyd stops him under 10 rounds.

There you hav it. Floyd by KO/TKO.

A patient boxer will give Floyd the most trouble somebody like Corey Spinks before he got lazy. You might want to make Floyd lead; the talk of pressure will only get you beat.

The Cotto approach was all Floyds doing , he could have boxed and won easy , he decided to stand toe to toe and it wasn't because his legs were gone like everybody was trying to say as he showed last fight he can still move brilliantly .
