Anyhow, the early stoppages are better than the health-damaging late stoppages like Lebedev-Jones and even Thompson-Price.
Agree with the bolded. There is definitely a line i just think its been set to far in the safe zone.

To the other comment i do feel it happens more over here. Maybe its because i watch more UK boxing and watch more prospects vs bum learning fights?

I think Scott was trying to use the full count to see out the round, he had a guy behind him talking to him when he was down.
Maybe he was, I'm definitely not defending Scott here though. I think it was ****** of him to stay down that long

The ref didn't have to finish counting to 10 because he felt Tyson couldn't continue so he waved it off. Which is acceptable.

In today's fight Malik seemed perfectly able to continue but the ref didn't count to 10 and just stopped it. Which is not acceptable.

Maybe you should watch the fight and then comment

A KO means the fighter could not beat the count from a KD

You know this because he stayed down until 9? Staying down until 9 makes it appear you're hurt and unable to continue.

Didn't you just say a TKO was when the ref stopped it before counting to 8? Or did you just have to wiki that?
