Malik has himself to blame. No one else.

How ****** can you be? To quote the great Max Kellerman after Khan KOd Judah: "did he not see the referees fingers right in his face?".

Usually, the referee stops it if you're not up at 8. Only this time the guy who lost was not supposed to lose and that's why some people are pissed.

Ward vs. Gatti I. Fast forward to 40:17. This is another example of a proper 10 count

any fighter knows you get up at 8 if you really want it. Chancing at getting up at 9 is not recommended. Didn't see the fight but maybe your boy was actually hurt............. Rockin'

It was a KO, a TKO is when a fighter is stopped on his feet.

True, there is an element of that everywhere but in terms of early stoppages we pretty much dominate.

I'd be pissed if i paid to watch a fight and it got called off like it did tonight. If Malik really didnt want to continue it would have been obvious within the next few seconds. His life/health wasnt in danger at all, its just common sense.

Maybe bbbc should have standardized questions that their refs have to ask the fighter before a fight is waved off (if the fighter is on his feet obviously). That would give the ref time to make a proper judgement call and allow them to properly look at the fighter. As it is i feel its hurting UK boxings reputation
