  • To anyone who says the refs count was too quick if you time it Scott is actually up at 11 seconds(which will be 11 seconds on the timekeepers clock as well).

This is not Scotts fault however and to me he was up at the refs count of 10.

    • Vitali should rematch if he's not retiring.

Malik will not outbox Haye because Haye won't allow him to dictate with the jab, we have never seen Haye have issues dealing with smaller heavyweights so why would Malik be any different? Yes he was outboxing Chisora but you could see he was losing the war if the fight had continued I would of had it even after 6 and I would expected Chisora to take the rest.

He has zero power and he was starting to get bullied around the ring, he was not escaping anymore either, Chisora was pushing him to the ropes and ****ing to the body and Scott was doing nothing in reply.

He was losing, got knocked down and took a way out that allowed for excuses to be made. Nothing but another protected HW who couldn't cope at 'contender' level.
Scott somehow knew that the ref would only do a 9 count?

          • I just watched it. Going into the 6th i had scott up by 1 round. He was winning the 6th until that right in the corner. I think he went down not only from the punch but it looked like chisora almost fell on top of him. I don't think he was hurt. He stayed down, looked at his corner & nodded he was good & got up at 9 & the ref waved it off! The ref blew it. I'm not going to speculate what would happen after because we don't know. What i do know is scott was fully aware of his situation. Russ amber his 2nd was irate & yelling he took a fuc**ng knee! Scott wasn't pissed because he's not surprised by it after the draw with glazkov. At that point it's 3-3 with chisora up a point from the knockdown. 4 rounds left & scott wasn't hurt. You can't say who would of won because anything can happen. The ref blew it & robbed scott of the opportunity to compete for the WBO regional belt. That's 3 fights now in the last couple years in england. Fury vs pajkic & firtha & now this fight... How come it's never the early stoppage against the english fighter? I like chisora but he by no means proved anything tonight other then he was in good shape.

The ref waved it off as the 10 count.

He stayed down long enough to give himself an excuse for quitting.

When you look at your corner & nod then you watch the ref & get up at nine he is not supposed to wave it off unless he is out on his feet... Scott was fine & his chief 2nd russ amber was yelling at the ref the entire time. Watch it again... I don't get whete anyone says he quit...i shake my head

                • Yes he waited til 9 but the ref at least could have grabbed his wrists, looked into his eyes while stepping back then ask him to step forward with his hands up. Then he can determine if he can't continue. The only way i can justify the ref's actions is if scott said to the ref he was done. If that comes out later i will then have clarity on the situation.

The wave off was the 10 count, he was not up and ready to go. He was still getting up, that doesn't cut it.

He didn't even look remotely hurt, he had no reason to stay down until after 9 if he wanted to go. The 8 count is when you should start to rise, not 9 and a half. He didn't complain, didn't make a case to the ref, nothing....so yeah, I believe without doubt that he quit when it was getting too tough for him.
