less than stellar performance against morales??? did you watch the fight?? barrera was excellent that night, combos and hand speed was good, especially after most people thought morales was gonna KO him, plus that was his first fight at 130lbs and you say that was a less than steller performance?? fair enough he didnt look good against peden but he still won and unified the division.

just because he wasnt at his best, that dont mean it was a less than stellar performance, goin into that fight barrera was a huge underdog, against all the odds he came out with the win and over the first 6 rounds it was lookin like a MD win for barrera or even possibly a KO, he was that good that night.

You can say Erik is a 3 time champ and Manny a 2 time. Now let's put the belts aside. Morales started at 122lbs, Manny started at 106lbs. Manny has gone from Strawweight, to Flyweight, to Batamweight, to Super Batamweight, to Featherweight, to Super Featherweight, and amid all that, he's kept his power and confidence. That's saying a lot, although take nothing away from Morales.

Eric has had many brawls, he turned pro at 16 or 17, he is 3 time world champ with over 16 title defenses. Pacman is a two time champ with 6 defenses. Morales has been fighting fights with top caliber opponents for a long time. If you say you have been following his career for a long time you would know that saturday's EM is not the same EM as a couple of years ago.

Exactly! Manny winning sat. night does not make him the better fighter.....the better fighter that night, but not in general..or overall.

manny showed he can KO morales a fighter who has supposedly a granite chin and that counts for something and that makes him in a way a better fighter than EM, if beating someone does not make you at least an equal then fighting is pointless and manny was way better that night than EM, way better

Then why did most morales fans predict that he would win the fight? In fact, most "experts" also predicted that morales would win. No one imagined that he would get pummeled by pacman the way he did. Pacman is becoming like a little Mike Tyson
