  • Eric Morales is 29, he's not washed up.

Eric Morales is 29 with 52 career fights.

Manny Pacquiao is 27 with 46 career fights.

I don't want to hear another person saying that El Terrible is past his prime. I've seen Morales fighting for a long time, Morales from 5 years ago would've still lost to Pac by TKO.

The better man won & enough with the excuses, El Terrible is not over 40, also he's only had 6 more fights then Pac.

Good points. Agreed. PAC is just redefining the featherweight division right now. And no one's gonna stop the Destroyer.

That's right... because physical age reflects wear on a boxer.

And Erik has had a lot of classic battles, albeit mostly one-sided. Erik is that good.

Pac is pretty close in the mileage but I think he has less wear-and-tear. He got KO'd twice as a young starving fighter - and one of those was coz his head hit the canvas after the knock down (I have that fight).

Morales from one year ago beat up pacman! Or did you not see that fight, or was it bc pacman was unfocused?lol

Eric has had many brawls, he turned pro at 16 or 17, he is 3 time world champ with over 16 title defenses. Pacman is a two time champ with 6 defenses. Morales has been fighting fights with top caliber opponents for a long time. If you say you have been following his career for a long time you would know that saturday's EM is not the same EM as a couple of years ago.

The difference is Morales has been boxing since he was 5 years old and he has had war after war, with his style of boxing which is typical Mexican hit and be hit boxing he has taken alot of shots over the years and he has had to dig deeper and deeper for each fight, this has shortened his career, its nothing to do with age!

I still think he has a lot to offer the sport but if he did retire who could blame him he deserves the rest!

He won the first fight by a close UD win, please do not compare the 2 wins.

Pac had a bad cut in the first fight he lost alot of blood, also he didn't have his normal gloves. All was proven right Saturday night.

I'm not making any excuses for Morales, like some of his fans are. If he would've beat Pac, none of you Morales nuthuggers would've said that he's washed up.

                  Enough with the excuses!

Well that would be self-evident, surely?
