Canelo has a huge legion of mexican fans who believes he will beat Floyd and they will buy the fight and the hype surronding this fight is surreal i can't wait to step into the MGM Grand that atmosphere will be electric

Unfortunately they don't sell ppvs in Mexico. I don't doubt that the atmosphere will be electric or anything like that but this doesn't hit mainstream America and that's what has to happen for a fight to do 2+ mill buys (its happened once). By saying that you are saying this fight has more hype than tyson holyfield II with two american heavyweights after a Foyt with a huge upset ko. No way. Nobody besides boxing fans or canelos followers know who he even is....

It's going to be a huge huge fight which 1.6-1.8 is but that 2+ mill marker is like massive out of control big... Which I don't see. If it does 2+ mill buys it better not turn out to be a Guerrero snooze fest cause that will just hinder boxing further I pray it's interesting.

I didn't think 2 mill before the press tour and tix went on sale by now I give it a realistic chance to go over two mill and if they stack the card how Golden Boy usually does I give it chance to break the record; hell nobody thought Floyd vs Oscar would break every record and honestly this fight feels bigger than that fight before hand. The only thing hindering it honestly is it being on Showtime rather than HBO. Sho needs work on it's production in my eyes to really pass HBO.

Maybe that's why Schafer mentioned the best undercard ever, putting Matt/Garcia on it. But he would need a couple more big ones. Back in the day when Chavez Sr. was fighting, there were some stacked cards with Norris, Trinidad, Sr., and others.
