That's probably the reason why they get made in the first place. Fans are relentless. They'll raise hell when things are not going right. Without these kinds of fans the duckers along with their managers and promoters will do whatever they want. Agree?

You didn't ask me, but just my opinion if I may. These match-makers listen to fans as far as what can lead them to believe that a fight will sell good, or not, etc.

I don't think they care about "he's ducking" and other rhetoric like that. They are business people and they put in a lot of work to make these events happen. There where threads after threads calling Danny a ducker, but none of that matters. These match makings take a lot of work and effort, not just signing a piece of paper.

Casual fans see the fights they want to see all the time, because they ain't worried about the behind the scene BS, they don't wander onto The Scene to check the news, etc. None of it matters. There is money to be made and it will get made. Mayweather vs. Pacquiao was a whole other story though. Just my opinion.

I think it's safe to assume that whatever numbers the Guerrero fight did, the Canelo fight will surpass easily.

I hope they put this fight on the undercard to Nelo vs Money. Two great fights on the PPV is great for the hardcore boxing fans. Plus Matts vs Garcia belongs in Vegas.

You know it would be the top story and topic on these boards if it did well. It didn't do well at all and that's why Floyd is fighting Canelo now so Showtime can recoup its losses. Schaefer was all about getting the numbers out to the public after it happened and the media said it bombed but he quickly turned his attention to making Floyd-Canelo happen so the attention would no longer be on the Floyd-Guerrero PPV #'s.
