1.6-1.8 max no way this fight does 2+ mill. That's suggesting that canelo is a much bigger star than cotto was in 2012, and outside the boxing community nobody even knows canelo. Cotto was a much bigger household name. This fight will do 2 mil just like the Guerrero fight was projected at 1.3 mill.

Canelo is easily a bigger draw than cotto was in 2012. Every mexican i know love Canelo. This thing is gonna be huge.

The Cotto fight didn't sell out in less than 24 hrs nor did it break any live gates records and the anticipation for this fight is a hell of alot bigger. if the Garcia-Lucas fight does make it on the undercard and they add Ortiz it has a hell of shot to break 2 mil and the PPV record. The coverage of this fight is everywhere look a press tour and they will ramp up the promo during CBS football coverage college and NFL.

I alway knew this fight would happen, I alway knew we need patience regarding this fight because GBP have other big name fighters who they had to sort out first, I knew they have zero choice but to put this fight on but the idiotic response that has follow the non-announcement of this fight was just ridiculous, even more ridiculous than the "Canelo would duck Trout" campaign.

Bigger draw? Maybe but it's not about draw for a huge huge ppv fight its more about if you are a household name. When they announced this on espn radio the guy had to explain this is a fight boxing fans have wanted and who canelo is. The other guy obviously not a boxing fan said well I guess he (mayweather) will fight anyone not named pacquiao... Most fans only know mayweather and pacquiao, canelo is far from a household name. Was pac mosley really relevant in boxing fans eyes? No but it was one of te highest ppvs pacquiao did, cause mosley was a household name. Just like cotto was... No way this fight does over 2+ mil.

Canelo has a huge legion of mexican fans who believes he will beat Floyd and they will buy the fight and the hype surronding this fight is surreal i can't wait to step into the MGM Grand that atmosphere will be electric
