We know on Boxingscene people will run with lowest number when it's involving Floyd; like they ran with 650k vs Ortiz.

Even if the PPV broke the 1 million mark it still fell short of expectations and cost Showtime money. Don't you read Forbes? Or are they biased against Floyd, too?

You know it would be the top story and topic on these boards if it did well. It didn't do well at all and that's why Floyd is fighting Canelo now so Showtime can recoup its losses. Schaefer was all about getting the numbers out to the public after it happened and the media said it bombed but he quickly turned his attention to making Floyd-Canelo happen so the attention would no longer be on the Floyd-Guerrero PPV #'s.

They said it did over million nobody believed that so they ran with 870k if they said a specific number over mil you wouldn't beleive it anyways; maybe the plan allong was was for Floyd to Canelo in Sept; I guess nobody remebers Canelo saying Floyd said they would fight in Sept if he was the undercard for the May 4th fight. Everybody swore cause Floyd wouldn't sign a guranteed contract he would duck him and low and behold they are fighting in sept just like it seemed all along.

I guess you didn't read when they put rumored12 mil in losses from industry insiders. You read 12 million in losses and said they lost money but most people read like women as it is so that wouldn't suprise me yall are keyword readers. If it did lose 12 million to a company like CBS that grosses a few billion each year i think they will be ok.

About a month. 3 or 4 weeks since Schaeffer said, "It will be done in a week." Two separate, "Done in 48 hours" claims.

I'm not running with any numbers at this point. I know what Schaefer said and I know he never confirmed the total and then went on to something else rather quickly.

The fight will get done, you guys just look for every ounce of negativity you can find to bash the kid, who is stepping up to the plate. He has enough options to duck this fight yet the fight is getting made.

I know the fight is getting made. No one involved has a choice. Not Lucas, not Danny, not Golden Boy, and not Haymon.
