With the greatest of respect, are you on a class A drug?

Please stop talking now ... if you post in this thread again the only conclusion to come to is you are gay for Joe Calzaghe and want to have his babies ... actually ... please post again
I think he's on some kind of hard drug. No knowledgable, objective boxing fan would even draw inferences of these kind without severe drug induced delusions.

        C'mon Roy, spank stay-at-home Joe.
        Roy is too old now.
I hear Joe wants Hagler next?
You seem to harbor a lot of hate for ol' Joe.

Mayweather is pound for pound the best in boxing.
Cunningham is the man at cruiser.
Dawson & Hopkins are running light-heavy.
        Taylor will dominate super-middle.
Pavlik is unified champion at 160.
Paul Williams can fight from 147 to 168 and he is the man at 1476 after whooping Margarita.
De La Hoya and Winky are the best 154 fighters.
        Mosley and Berto at 147.
Paulie and Tim Bradley at 140. Bradley spanked Witter in Germany and Paulie will retire Fatton.
Steve L at feather - he knocked out that British bum Cook.
        The list goes on.
Hang on a minute, the Brits have ONE world champion and his name is Cook.
Hatton ain't world champion. Slapzaghe isn't. Haye isn't.
        GOD BLESS AMERICA!
        Not so hidden agenda found?

Calzaghe is underrated. Being a champion for that long is a very hard thing to do.

During his career, Joe Calzaghe cancelled a total of 12 championship bouts.

Out of 20+ championship fights at super middle, only 5 of his opponents were recognised as top-10 super middleweights when Calzaghe respectively won.

It took 9-years for Calzaghe to fight a unification fight.

He made his 20th title defence against career light middleweight Peter Manfredo in front of 35,000 ardent fans.

It's speculated that Calzaghe first applied for a passport in 2008. Prior to this he may have used European train services to travel the continent. It meant so much to Calzaghe to beat Mario Veit in Germany that when he won he was ecstatic, actually screaming with joy 'I am the man!'.

In his fight against Jones Jr, he went 50/50 against a shot Jones. This fight was such a failed promotion that they gave away an estimated 5,000 tics on fight night. The PPV struggled to reach 200,000 buys. Perhaps it had something to do with his awful HBO debut against Sakio Bika.

What do these stats say about the great half Italian, half Welsh by way of London phenom?
Excellent post that only touches the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the patheticness of Calzaghes so called "hall of fame" career. Hey U got to respect a guy for getting in the ring but having said that Calzaghe did not earn the respect of being considered an all time great by any means. Nobody fought more soft touches defending a practically meaningless WBO crap strap. At the time that WBO "belt" was about equal to an NABF or state title now.

Lets talk about the bogus stoppages and how sven ottke some how has the same exact world record as him even though they fought at the exact same time in the exact same division. How does that work? And Jones Hopkins? Come on Hopkins crushed him as old as he was just by landing punches and Calzaghes girl slaps NEVER, NEVER looked more pathetic then they did in that fight. Just God awful. Thank god calslappy had stamina because he had nothing else going for him. And to top it off Both of them dropped Calzaghe in the first round as old as they were. Hopkins while still a great fighter has absolutely no power and we all know how shot Jones is

I hate long drawn out posts but Calslappy sucks so bad

He is supposedly the best 168 pounder ever? Really? Can anyone imagine him on his best day lasting more then 30 seconds against the Roy Jones or James Toney that fought each other? Seriously? Don't make me laugh he would get creamed. Prob defecate himself during the ring walk
