A prime Jones would humiliate Calzaghe. I mean a 40 yr old Jones nearly knocked Calzaghe out in the first round. In his prime he would've put him down and kept him there. Don't forget, Jones went on to get knocked out in 1 minute by Danny Green. LMAO

Roy in his prime was going the distance with David Telesco, Lou Del Valle and Reggie Johnson so I don't know where this idea that he'd destroy Calzaghe easily came from.

yes he may have had an easier schedule and was protected alot in his career,,

But when it was go-time, joe never backed down...

If he was a paper champ, a guy like Lacy or kessler would have beat him and Joe beat them down, especially lacy, he was never the same after joe beat him up..

People say kessler was green but that is bullcrap.. Kessler had 2 belts at the time and had roughly 40 fights....

Joe also beat hopkins which is not an easy task to do...

Calzaghe went the distance with David Starie in probably one of the worst British championship fights of modern times. And he went the distance with Robbie Reid in a fight which could've went either way. Just respect the cream of the crop, Calzaghe wasnt in it.
