Tsk, tsk... It's sad that people prefer not to use brains, instead of looking at the situation in an objective manner.

What exactly do you suggest Arum would do to resolve the matter? Are you admitting that Marquez is unjustifiably b1ching about the tests? Which side exactly are you on?

If JMM is against the testing what exactly do you want Arum to do?

And who's to say if it's as "stringent as any drug testing of USADA or VADA." It's real easy to say that, but who's going to be able to tell if it's true or not. Surely the whole point of VADA and USADA is that the labs they use are of highest standard and they had the authority and credibility to conduct the proper tests.

The state authority thing is appealing as Arum no doubt understands, but how this actually works in practice is another matter.
I don't think it's a strange setup. It's the ideal setup. The problem is, with boxing being as corrupt as it is, you have to wonder how corrupt this program would be. And like VADA and USADA, NSAC will almost certainly make a mistake in the beginning.

We can't be that critical of NSAC doing the random drug testing because with the exception of USADA, the other agency VADA is very new. They are newcomers. So NSAC can start from scratch just like VADA did. On the surface, this is actually how things should be, because there is no conflict of interest with promoters and/or boxers directly hiring the testing agencies.

But I don't exactly trust NSAC either. And I don't think NSAC has been preparing themselves to undergo this type of testing. But it's a step in the right direction. Commission testing could potentially get better.

Idk what arum should do if jmm is against the test, however jmm said he wanted to prove he was clean... Well prove it! Why are the tests a problem now? I thought this had been agreed upon. Literally when the contracts were signed there was an article that they agreed on vada testing, well obviously that's what Bradley thought he was getting. I think they should use vada and not experiment with the commission on a fight of this magnitude, especially with memo as his strength coach.

You people are in a thread with arum saying testing will be done by commission. Arum saying this! Which means it was never in contract. JMM saying he will do testing but arum saying it will not be used. Geeez!

No arum is saying "extra" testing through the commission they are paying them more money did you even read the article? Pretty much he's saying vada testing through the commission which is what everyone wants, but it's not necessarily vada it's whatever the commission deems worthy which doesn't really mean ****. Before you post read the article...

The point is Bradley is saying no I want vada and now marquez is saying well if you want vada I want a rehydration clause...

So it isnt in the contract? Its not VADA or USADA? So if commssion deems themselves sufficient then it is? Why is JMM getting hated on if this is the case? So bradley sayin he wants VADA is a demand that isnt in contract but JMM wanting a rehydraion clause is also not in contract but one is frowne upon while th other isnt?

Well we all thought vada or usada ( can't remember which one) had been agreed upon so who knows what the contract language was, but it could have been vague enough to go this route. Idk why do all of this shady stuff in the first place? Marquez had already agreed publicly to vada or usada, however his actions are telling a different story. If there was a mistake why not rectify it and choose one of those organizations? I mean they had serious negotiations about usada and vada it was a sticking point. Why would Bradley sign something without that it in there if they spent all that time negotiating...

Sounds like the Commission will overseer it but the testing will be done in the end by labs controlled by VADA/USADA , it just sounds like a Arum sales pitch to me , Bob has to do it his way and spin it different from everybody else because of all the negative crap he was saying about this kinda testing way back .
