it makes sense to me. if the fighters involve want to have random testing it should still be under the authority of the commissions as that is their mandate. and in case the requested testing is something the commission are not capable of doing, they can outsource it. they'll be the only ones who can have negotiation with outside testing agencies and no one else.

you can say whatever you want about commissions being corrupt and all but it's a bigger joke if fighters or promoters are directly involve with drug testing. there's no room for self-regulation in any sports. fighters and promoters should be out of anything that could influence the outcome of the fight like choosing the refs and judges and yes drug testing too. commissions can outsource drug testing and that's well and good for me.

I've learned from my experiences as a boxing fan never to trust arum, more lies come out of his mouth than the truth. If I was bradley I would say no vada = no fight.

It's a fact that Memo does not want VADA. He's on record saying that. It's really just because it's the agency of choice of his enemy. You must not be aware that Conte and Memo go at it almost daily. Arguing back and forth about VADA and USADA, the fighters getting tested or not, etc.

He regretted turning down that Peterson fight by the way. Because after that, he ended up being forced to take a long lay off. He wrongly assumed that he could get something better. Even Arum thought he was nuts.

My point is why would you go with an agency a KNOWN ped chemist is comfortable with. The whole point is to make him uncomfortable about passing these tests... I mean seriously memo doesnt want it? Well make sure to give him the test he wants... Also yes turning down 2.3 mill for pederson was beyond ******.

GBP and Maywather promotions pay attention...this is how drug testing should be done. The results should go to a third party commission and not the damned promoter..it should not be up to the promoter to decide whether to disclose the results, ask for retesting, or even be able to have the opportunity to have the test results go away.

I'm sorry but the way testing has been done is bullshhhh hall of famer Winky Wright was the first one to put the GBP system on blast...rightfully so. Good for Arum and Top Rank..full f'ing disclosure.
