GBP needs to do two things to keep the momentum. Finalize Garcia-Matthysee and step up to the plate and make Hopkins-Kovalev. Only Hopkins-Froch would be an acceptable alternative.

This year has been excellent so far. Both networks have had some great fights but it is quite clear that Top Rank and Golden Boy need to work together. We have been reduced to choosing sides in this "cold war" and the fans are the ones losing out. It's a sad day when boxing starts to follow the mold of wrestling.

These are just few among many which HBO tolerated for years whether TR or HBO promoted. HBO obviously have that kind of resources. They lose some, they win some. Showtime can't afford loses.
haha! Take that advise there buddy! And I'm not against HBO at all but once again you got Floyd on mind cause that's all you know so that's all you can talk about. Learn the sport kid

Where did you get I hate HBO? Just out if curiosity but I know. You'll come back with a child like answer of " your idol left so you hate them"

Now that Golden Boy has so many good fighters it's only going to hurt Top Rank if they don't start doing fights with them. Arum had a good month. I don't expect TR to have many more good cards this year.

Fans will pay to see good fights no matter who puts them on. Both Arum and Schaefer are equally guilty for the fued. They just flat hate each other's guts and never miss a chance to cuss and insult each other. Arum's idea of not putting on fights between his best fighters when the fight was hot was wrong. He would say the fight needs to marinate. Often while the fight was marinating something would happen to kill the fight. Schaefer has the right idea of matching the best into the best and what ever happens happens. But Schaefer does not always do that. Arum is improving and he is matching his big stars into each other more often. The Bradley-Marquez fight and the Pacquiao-Rios fight will both make good money.

Real talk right here. Real fans don't choose sides among networks, promoters, etc. I, for example, watch MMA reruns on Fox, Sp1ke TV, Sports channel, etc. Bellator, UFC, MMA, I don't even know the differences. I don't care. I watch fights. That's all I cared about.

Arguing about promoters and networks seems immature.

I think promotions need to work with each other soon..I also believe the landscape of these promotion company's will change soon as well..You might see some fighters who are with GBP now go and sign to TR and vice versa..All in all it's been a pretty good yr for both imo..
