Yes GBP has been putting on better fights lately but they are NOT killing Top Rank.

Top Rank got the #1 channel (HBO) all to themselves they could careless about GBP fights.

HBO breaking away with Haymon/GBP team has been a blessing in disguise for fans. (I have both networks, so I'm not into SHO vs HBO.) Haymon/GBP is finally forced to come up with good fights. SHO don't have that kind of resources. Canelo, Berto... I don't think Schaefer/Haymon would have made Broner vs Reese on Showtime. Malignaggi vs Broner was a leftover that was caught in the crossfire. Again, I don't think Haymon/Schaefer would have made such fight at Showtime.

why is it that you kill haymon/gbp fights like broner rees but dont kill TR fights like manny rios? they are both blowouts setup for the favored fighter to look good.

Only way you can be taken seriously is to stop thinking about Floyd and base all your judgements relating to Floyd. You hate HBO because Floyd left, is it not? That's really dumb, homey.

I gave an example of GBP/Haymon inspired fights: Canelo and Berto fighting tomatoes for so long at HBO. These are just few among many which HBO tolerated for years whether TR or HBO promoted. HBO obviously have that kind of resources. They lose some, they win some. Showtime can't afford loses.
