While I agree that GBP has the better stable, your "GBP is killing Top Rank" comment doesn't stand. Just take a look at the TV ratings for last weeks cards. HBO > Showtime by miles in terms of viewership. HBO's card featured a boring quitter vs a pedo and a guy who has barely managed to remain relevant on the under card. Showtime's card was actually really good.
And we still don't know if Matthysse vs Garcia will happen or not, it should have been confirmed a long time ago.
Those fighters featured on HBO aren't even with Top Rank. You're comparing networks, not promoters.

The point is, TR is not constrained to the lower performing network burdened by a crazy 6 fight Floyd contract. Any losses by Showtime will be felt by GBP, they don't have any other outlet. They've never done an independent ppv. Maybe Fox Deportes?
Top Rank sucks. If you like recycled fights that go for it, sometimes I feel as though some people work for top rank on these boards the way they protect their old and garbage stable.
TR's promotional strategies are way better. Just wait when Marquez/Bradley come out to promote their fight. You can't beat the old veteran.
Showtime lost $12 million in the Mayweather fight. What does that tell you? TR doesn't even give a **** about GBP. TR is doing fine.
So when Golden Boy said Floyd-Canelo is on the 14th, TR was like no way, we put on the better fights lets compete? Or was bradley-marquez predicted to be so huge they thought floyd would move.... Let's be honest here GBP puts on the far more competitive fights and the fights people want to see. TR hasn't been doing that as of late.

That's not about TR vs GBP. That's TR vs Mayweather. Apples and bananas.

GBP is definitely putting on better fights they are just on the smaller network.
Competition is good and to be honest GBP holds a lot of the cards due to the numbers of boxers that they have around 140-154, and the added fact that they are willing to do business with any promoter makes then the leading figure at the moment.
