He makes a lot of money fighting in Indonesia.

He's one of the top 5 fighters in the world, for fucks sake, if he was managed properly he'd earn 10x more per fight than he does now. To blame his style alone is nothing but a cheap cop out, casual fans buy boring fights all the time.
Boxing is about entertainment first and skills second nobody wants to watch a boring fighter. Andre ward is boring outside the ring and EXTREMELY boring inside it. I'm surprised his management got him that hbo deal. Ill watch Andre ward when I want to pass out on my couch, normally about 8th round I fall right asleep. If Andre ward becomes the next cash cow boxing is in trouble.

I disagree, all fighters with a boring style dont sell well as a nice guys. you are over generalizing all black fighters because of just mayweather. Tyson was on top of the world in the late 80s and he had a nice guy persona. If don king wouldn't have corrupted tyson or Cus lived into the 90s tyson would have been the first billion dollar athlete.

Sincerely doubt any of those figures are true.

i don't make sh#t up. i've spoken with more managers of boxers in the last five years than you will ever speak to.

i sincerely do not care, but here you go:

muhammad ali act states that a manager can't earn more than one third of a boxer's purse.

and here's michael marley, disclosing the 17% he was set to make off of a purse as a co - manager.
There’s one wild card in finalizing a deal for a Juan Manuel Marquez-Manny Pacquiao trilogy, and it could come back to haunt all of the principals. And, when I say wild card, my reference is not to Freddie Roach's Sweat Palace located in the sleaziest section of Hollyweird.
