His management know he doesn't have a particularly fan friendly style, so why don't they do more to promote him in other ways? They have lots of things they could do to help him, yet they do precisely NOTHING. Yeah, brilliant management.

What can they make him do to be more exciting in the ring.... At the end of the day it is his style that turns people off, not his out of ring antics... If ward was ko'ing people every fight and was an exciting fighter.......

What could his management do to make people care about a boring boxer.... They have already got him an hbo contract and p4p#2 and he is making a million or more per fight with his hbo contract...

What could they do.... You probably dont have an answer.....List 3 things that his managers arent doing for him...

Im not blaming his fighting style. Im blaming his personality.

I know, that last part wasn't aimed directly at you, more at the people who keep saying his style is boring so people don't want to watch.

1) He doesn't do enough in the spotlight outside of fights. Like was suggested earlier, he could do a Subway commercial.

2) They aren't doing enough to make him travel. If he travelled somewhere and fought a home town fighter, the numbers would be bigger, and he would have a better chance to win over new fans.

3) They aren't doing enough to make him take risks. How much bigger box office would he be right now if he'd beaten Dawson at LHW instead of beating the empty shell of a man who turned up at SMW? *For the record, I agree with Dawson coming down, since he was the one calling out Ward, but his management should have hads a word in his ear and informed him how much of a laughing stock he could become if Dawson doesn't look any good*

Any one of those 3 things would have earned him more money, and there's plenty more they could do too, but you only asked for 3 examples.

Booth is Haye's trainer and manager, but there is no way on this planet he is taking 40% from Haye.

I don't care what is standard in the USA.

trainers of the highest earning fighters often negotiate a flat fee with their fighters, one that is below 10%

managers are usually around 30%, man.


booth is a well paid guy. he's also very busy when haye fights.

My number one is definitely Gary Russell Jr. the way he is getting moved along is pathetic I dont understand how he isn't making a big stink about this and trying to get out of it.

I get what you are saying but its not as easy as it looks..
1. Subway decides who they are gonna use, Ward just cant come to them and say get me on commercials.. Plus they already use mike lee for some unknown reason... Plus subway would rather use nba, nfl players who are much better known..
2.Traveling wont help him because you are endangered of losing a hometown decision... Thats why you dont see guys like ward, floyd, hopkins, going overseas... Plus ward as already beaten down a bunch of international stars like kessler, bika, froch
3. Take more challenges is hard because he already has beaten any serious threat at his division... He is just left with freak show fights like chavez jr, pavlik, and stevenson just burst onto the scene so its not like ward's people havent landed him big fights....
4. When the thread asks who is the worst managed, Ward def is not the worst managed fighter....Would ward be bigger if he was under top rank or gbp.. Yeah probably but he is def not mismanaged... Dirrell brothers are mismanaged

Andre Ward.

An undefeated, undisputed world champion, regarded by many as the 2nd best fighter p4p, dominates everyone he fights, and his manager still can't get him paid without having to fight the same people he dominated before, again. Disgraceful management if you ask me.

Thats ridiculous 1st hes p4p 1 because floyd fights bums and is inactive and ward s injuries keeping him out of the ring If gayweather beats saul then he will be #1 again

Domestically, I think Nathan Cleverly has been poorly treated by Fish Eyes.
