He has one of the best styles in boxing period! I don't ind Canelo particularly exciting. The only boing fight Lara was in was with Molina. Danny Garcia isn't really exciting either. Just make him fight the Canelo Mayweather winner and he'll finish them of

That's a valid point, but the facts point that Canelo's never been on the canvas, plus the kid is 22, and every boxer that steps into the ring with him get hurt, the exception being Mosley, but you know what Mosley's legendary chin is made of.

But I'm on that I'd like to see Canelo vs Lara after the Floyd fight.

Lara was hitting him with almost everything he threw. He would be an idiot to just stand there and trade with a power puncher. They need to create another sport if they want to see complete bloody violence. Boxing is the sweet science of hitting and not getting hit. Schaefer is not helping the sport by making negative statements about a talented fighter with a bright future. He is simply trying to keep Lara away from Alverez by calling him boring. Boring or not, he is too skilled for Canelo.
The same way he was too skilled for Molina, and too skilled for flat-footed punchin bag Angulo, yet he got knocked down twice, no valid argument.

I dare you to fight with an orbital bone broken, guess you must be a keyboard warrior who never been into a real fight, you know how painful it is?
dude, I've had stitches on half my mouth, and other swollen areas of my face, but orbital bone broken is as painful as you can imagine, don't say bull****.

Now, this is a very true statement, I've seen a lot of fighters saying : "I want Canelo or Mayweeather, either of those 2 names". It's ridiculous you put Canelo on the same skill and history as Mayweather, but it's happening, so I guess we wont see Canelo vs Lara anytime soon, but don't count that out, honestly who thought Floyd vs Canelo was gonna happen?

Arum and Schaefer. I just have 1 question...... What the hell do these guys pay you for if you can't promote them? They sound more bitter than happy for these dudes. Rigondeaux and Lara are winners but became loses as far as progressing with their careers under these banners.

                PS
Gamboa is not considered a boring fighter.

Does anyone think that is unprofessional, for lack of a better word, for Schaefer to go and practically announce that his fighter his not exciting and isn't what fans want to see?

I mean he didn't sugar coat it or anything. He just came out and said let's not BS each other the guy's not exciting.

WTF?! You're his promoter. Say something else positive then to drum up interest in the guy. Like how he got up twice from being floored by one of the hardest hitters in the division.

What he said was the truth in a way, and sums up what a lot of people think about Lara/THAT style of boxing. But he still has a commitment to the fighter to sell him to the public.

Arum and Schaefer are cut from the same cloth. You think Arum wanted Rigo to beat Nonito? Hell no! As a matter of fact if Lara would have lost to Angulo Schafer would be waxing poetic at nausea about how skillful and technically gifted Lara was and how that says something about Angulo's strength and heart by beating such a great opponent. GTFOH with these promotors. GBP signed Lara to feed to Canelo but along the line relized that would be a 50/50 proposition for Canelo. Same reason they signed Paulie and got him a trinket. To feed him to their GBP flavor of the month at 147.

Many of us did, just use process of elimination. Floyd has 5 fights left, and he tends to fight guys coming off a notable win. Preferably, he wants to fight someone who's marketable and has a fan-base. Canelo is a prime candidate.
