I saw all these fights. He was exciting vs Casey too, but neither of these guys are top 20 even. At best he's hit or miss, as excitement goes. I'm not even trying to put him down, I was entertained by him taking Donaire apart, but lets not pretend that he's an exciting fighter, to the massesComment

No but if Arum wants to promote him right he'll put him on all of the Asian cards where they respect all aspects of combat.I saw all these fights. It was a good performance but there was too much waiting and measuring against an opponent who's not remotely in his league. The Casey fight was more exciting.Comment

I think Rigo would probably prefer not to fight in China (and to headline), but that's likely if they can't find him an HBO spot. It's not like he hasn't had big PPV undercard exposure before.Comment

Hmm... is this a Cuban thing or what? I realize now that when they do get aggressive and exciting they get knocked down. So who can really blame them for sticking with their styles if they're winning?.........
"I think TV networks, at least Showtime, is rewarding excitement as well. When you see a fight like a Rignodeaux or a Gamboa - they don't have very crowd pleasing styles. And I think as a result it makes them much more difficulty to sell, and it has nothing to do with promoting."
