I think the 2 lbs does make a huge difference when you are cutting weight..

But Canelo never looks very skinny or naught when making weight, and sometimes he looks pudgy in the ring.....
I honestly think canelo is alot like cotto, n chavez when it comes to working hard at camp.. Both seem to do just enough to make weight,,and not go the extra mile like floyd, hopkins etc do..
I think the fact that its canelo's biggest fight, he should be properly motivated to do the road work that is required to make the 152..
I dont think canelo will have a problem with it, if he has a good diet and does his roadwork...
Its not like the dawson fight, where chad dropped completely to 168, If canelo dropped to 147 then yes he would be drained

And again, he weighed in at 153.5 vs Trout..
What's my point? My point is he's weighed under 152 in the past few years.

He'd weighed under 154 on a consistent basis in his last list of fights.

He almost a teenger still, right now.

And my main point is, like I stated quite clearly, I don't expect him to have issues making 152.

I know from a previous career path that it's absolutely true that the closer you are to a dangerously low body fat percentage, the harder it is to cut weight and the riskier it becomes to your health.

Not debating that part, where he says he knew what Canelo's body fat % was though, I'd like to know how he knows that.

so explain to me what you think it means for Nelo to have to fight at 152 rather than 154....

is it a thing....or no thing at all??

                  wachu got???

                    Here's what I got, mane:

Physically - probably only the fighter and a very small number of people will have any clue going in if it will affect him physically. Seeing as how nobody around here saying anything about it is any of those people and even if they were, how would we know and not just blow them off like some random fighter-xtard, I'll reserve my opinion til' after.

Mentally/Emotionally - He is already doing what Floyd says to do. Right off the bat. Advantage - Floyd.

                      the source.... my eyes....

i can tell by looking at him...

the leanest boxers.... will be at absolute lowest 7% bodyfat....

if you look at josesito lopez vs. canelo..... lopez was probably 15% bodyfat, cos he's a natural jr. welter....

canelo's not shredded on the scales.... his legs don't have seperation.... so he's definitely over 10% bodyfat.... i estimate him at around 12%.....

and he's spent the early part of his career at 147.... and has fought around 150.... only recently has he weighed 154....
