What's in a pound or two......

It is painfully obvious that many of the posters on here are "experts" it is just as painfully obvious that many posters here don't have a clue what a pound or two represent for fighter trying to cut weight...

so explain to me what you think it means for Nelo to have to fight at 152 rather than 154....

is it a thing....or no thing at all??

    wachu got???

If he's already killing to make 154, then 2 pounds is going to suck

It means he'll be a weight drained dead man according to Team Mayweather.

2lbs is nothing when you first start training camp.

But, anybody who has tried to cut weight before, and theyve reached their lowest most successful weight ever... knows, that asking for ANOTHER 2lbs does in fact matter, and it's not "nothing".

Canelo weighed in under 154 for Trout so surely it can't be this difficult.

Cutting weight at 22 > Cutting weight in your thirties.

What my main problem is Mayweather having Cotto and DLH fights at the full limit. Where is the glory in limiting your opponent? It's basically saying I need this advantage to win.

It was a bitch during wrestling. I never had it as bad as other people, had to take a seat to regain my senses, but my friend passed out on the road once during a night run. He had to wrestle a weight class above and had no energy.

We were doing same day weigh-ins though.... that ******

1 pound mean a lot when you criticize other for draining their opponent and you don't, stating you fight them at their best weight .

                  It ain't "just 2 pounds"

Ask MAyweather when he fought against Marquez, it was just 2 pounds?
