Yeah, its a catch weight and all but so far from what its known there is no hydration clause like the one on Pac vs Cotto where Miguel was to be fined 1 million per lbs over 145 and no fight if it was over 147 even if it was one once!

Catch weight or not Canelos is going to get his $h1t pushed in by Floyd.

Canelo need to stop making excuses on why he will lose the fight...its not going to matter, cw or not.

And remember what Floyd and his fans rolled with? "Cotto is actually undefeated, he didn't lose to Pacquiao because he was drained" so I guess the same logic stands for Canelo if he loses?

First and foremost - this could be a great fight. With Floyd, there's always a risk that he takes the sting out of the fight by round 4. But if Canelo keeps up his side and makes the fight competitive like Cotto did - this could be a tremendous fight.

Saying that, Mayweather's hypocrisy is hilarious. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really matter - the actual fight is way more important than point scoring between the 'tards and the Flaggots.

However, this guy is one fight removed from doing the very thing he was sh-tting on another fighter for doing. The very same thing. That is not something that can be ignored. He made a conscious decision to pursue the catchweight angle for the Cotto fight. As long we all acknowledge he's a lying, hypocritical opportunist scumbag, let that be the end of that. Seriously, we can't have 4 months of crying about catchweights.

But Mayweather consciously chose to use the catchweight angle for the Cotto fight. It really was some self serving bull****, so I don't see why he should be suddenly spared from his own words. He was happy to use that angle to discredit Pacquaio, so **** it, go forth junior gong and check hooks, do your thing, discredit the **** out of this fight.

I'm a little late on this but it has to be said. The reason why the fight is taking place at 152 is because Canelo is not the one dictating the terms of this fight. If you forget Mayweather is the p4p champ. Canelo sealed his fate when he pulled out of the May 4th card. Floyd had respect for De la Hoys and Cotto. Because of Canelo's lack of respect Mayweather is showing him none. Cry all you want, this fight is being fought at the weight Mayweather is comfortable.

Fighting at a catchweight was originally Canelo's idea. He did NOT have to come to that agreement if he felt uncomfortable. He signed his name on the contract. Now, he's the one who has to deal with that decision.

If I remember correctly it was originally his idea. I think it was either last year or 2011. He said he would go to 150 to fight Floyd. This was when the whole Sergio going to 150 to fight Manny and Floyd thing was going on.
