I find it odd that all those people who confidentally claimed that Mayweather was scared of Alvarez, that Alvarez was too strong and too powerful for Mayweather and that Alvarez would beat Mayweather easily are nowhere to be found now that the fight is signed!!!

There have been over 1000 posts on this message board today complaining about the catchweight, but there fewer than a dozen that actually state that Alvarez will defeat Mayweather.

Where is the confidence of all you clowns/haters who predicted Mayweather would suffer his first loss if he had the guts to get in the ring with Alvarez? If Alvarez is as strong and powerful as you claim he is, two pounds won't prevent him from giving Mayweather that monumental ass-whipping that you were so sure he would give him before the fight was signed.

My prediction: Mayweather will punch Alvarez at will until the end of the 9th or 10th round, at which time Alvarez''s corner will stop the fight. Second prediction: Alvarez will land fewer punches on Mayweather than Mosley did, which was less than 100, according to the official count.

Most people said that Floyd has most of the advantages while Canelo has size and some power. According to Floyd fans own statements over the years, "Floyd's reason for the CW is to decrease the only advantage that Canelo had .... a CW was used to weaken Canelo"

Floyd won a significant battle even before the fight started. Floyd knew that Canelo, like many other fighters, would give in just to get the fight on.

The cons for Canelo: Low work-rate and stamina issues. Can be in part due to having a hard time making weight. Now that its at 152, it can definitely hurt Canelo.

Let's hope that Canelo trains well and makes weight without any issues.

Reloaded why are you not going on your usual rant when a fighter uses CW for a title fight? You know since you have said it before that the only reason why you would want to bring a 154 opponent to 152 is to weaken him.

This one has 4 titles on the line but with a CW. It must make you go crazy hearing that they announced CWs and Floyd is KING CW now ......

I don't find that nearly as odd as this morning's wake of the widespread catastrophic carnage left behind of a good number Floyd Fan corpses when their Superhero torched them by doing something that they had three-year Hissy Fits over; Catchweights. Who will ever forget Floyd's words calling Cotto undefeated because Pac drained him? How Floyd said regarding Catchweights "I am not that type of guy, I want a guy at his natural weight, to be comfortable!"? Like I said, the carnage was as funny as it was devastating. Total obliteration, on an epic level.

Their weight-drain religion along with their dignity was annihilated today and the funny thing was not watching them go into damage control or admit they were wrong, but rather a drilling in of the purest form of brazen, unabashed Hypocrisy this message board has ever seen. Well one or two Floyd fans came on and admitted his doing Catchweights was not right....whether that was genuine or to save face is hard to determine. There are some Floyd fans who are cool and consistent. But the body pile-up today was huge.

At the center of that was watching Frank ***etts implode....what a spectacle to behold. Watching his world die right in front of me was hilarious, pathetic, and cartoonish in ways - by the manner in which he chose to detonate himself using his own explosives.

This kid is 12 years younger and will outweigh Floyd by AT LEAST 20 lbs on fight night. Floyd fights at his natural weight, Canelo does not. Forget the 2 pounds, Floyd's the man and would have been within his rights to make Canelo come to 147 on general principle (for calling him out). This is the best fight that can be made and people are still whining...unbelievable.

Floyd's fans need to realize, the guy does ALL of this to himself with the shit he says. "I want him to be comfortable." He makes himself look like a huge hypocrite.

That said, Floyd wins this fight at 152 or 154. Everyone said Cotto only had to lose an extra pound against Pacquiao, same with Canelo here. It shouldn't greatly affect him, luckily Floyd didn't ask for a rehydration cap. Canelo does have a better shot than almost any other fighter in the world though, will be one of the biggest fights of my lifetime and I'm glad it's happening.

Floyd was just kidding when he said he want's his opponents to be comfortable.
