but devon has accomplished as much, if not more, against better competition than Canelo and Matthysse.

the only reason no one wnats to see devon is because he doesnt have KO power and therefore doesn't have a "punchers" chance. well matthysse and canelo dont have a "boxers" chance.
Its not even about the styles. Devon doesnt have a puncher, boxers, any chance, just like Guerrero, tho i personally think he's better then robert

Since devons last good win (urango) which was like 4 years ago i think, he has only beat 1 decent fighter in Madiana, a contender, who was off a khan loss and a very close fight with Morales at 140. He was #6 at that weight i think. Lucas has beaten a top LW in soto, Devon, Judah, Ajose, and peterson. And during that time he shouldnt have lost, while devon should have lost 3 str8. Just the peterson and Trout wins alone are better then anything Devon has done in 3 years.

Devon's accomplishments, especially as of late are very thin. Guys like Purdy and Bailey are at or below the level of Mike dallas Jr

Lol cmon, you know he beat him. I've showed you the poll where it was like 92% of people thought he won, and you were on of the 8% that thought he lost, even tho you later admitted that you thought he won.

        Heres the poll

Devon is a better overall boxer then who exactly?

And if you think about it....Who really has a punchers chance against one of the greatest defensive fighters of all time? And now that he's with his father again he's not standing in the pocket nearly as much.

Zab Judah is a B- fighter and gave Floyd more problems than several future hall of famers only because he had the speed, quickness and reflexes to hang in there with him.

Think Diobelys Hurtado vs. Pernell Whitaker. Hurtado had Whitaker frustrated with his constant movement and his speed. Whitaker had to chase and stalk which was something he wasn't used to doing. Next thing you know, he's down on the scorecards and needs a late round come from behind KO to pull out the victory.

This fight would have never happened in today's boxing because fans would have written off Hurtado as a fighter who was "boring", "outclassed", "holds too much", "doesn't have a big enough name", or had a "****ty resume".

You never know what you are going to get when you put a different style of fighter in the ring. Let's see Floyd stalk and deal with a quicker/faster fighter at age 36. These slow, flat footed guys make it easy on him. Just move and pot shot all night long.

Lol how could they advertise the fight. Sure floyd can play the villian but nothings more villainous than alexanders fighting style. No amount of maweather bravado could compete with what we see when alexander steps into the ring. Floyd would have to play the hero in this fight.

after Bailey, how could anyone EVER wanna watch Alexander again?
Alexander the twat is overrated, boring, and annoying
he quit vs Bradley and choked hard vs Kotelnik and Lucas
he generates 0 excitement and hasn't impressed since the Urango KO

Listen, at some point young hungry fighters have to be given a shot in order for the sport to keep moving forward. Floyd has fought many champions over the years, some old, some young, but the reality is his career is coming to a end, and guys like Guerreo, Khan, Alexander, Ortiz ect are going to be slugging it out with one another for the next 10 years. I say Alexander has absolutely earned his shot, it would be a unification bout, and he presents the most fluid athletic boxing ability Floyd has seen in years.

Upsets can't happen in the sport of boxing if champions don't give legitimate contenders a chance.

Devon got schooled by Kotelnik, well not schooled, but Kotelnik outboxed him.

If Kotelnik outboxed Devon, what chance does he have against Floyd?

Khan is a much better and competitive option.

It's gonna be hard to get people to buy this for $70. I would love to see how the undercard looks if this was to get made.
