Devon Alexander may not be popular he deserves a shot at May..has best chance winning

Devon Alexander is literally one of the least marketable fights out there for Floyd.

Alexander is a fighter than has enough athletic ability to at least intrigue the casual fan. Mayweather is the star regardless, so that's whose going o sell the fight off name value.

You clearly didn't watch his last fight where he didn't pitty pat at all and through combinations all night.

You can say Devon has 3 loses all you want, but that doesn't make it true. He has one, that's it. There is no dis*****g it, maybe you and others think he lost fights, but all that counts is his official record. Hell, tons of top champions have disputed wins on their records, but that doesn't change their record.

As for Devon deserving the fight, who deserves it more at 147? I get people want Canelo and that should be next, but if the fight falls through then Devon is the best option, period.

Alexander has a boring style and no personality. Mayweather also doesn't tend to fight other African American fighters because he believes it doesn't sell as well as an African America vs a Hispanic or another race. And for the most part, he's right.

Im almost certain this fight doesn't happen. Alexander will face Khan in December.

Alexander/Floyd is a legitimate fight. No matter how much an angry hater hates. However the fight has business being a 70 dollar ppv. The fight is worth some regular showtime, nothing more.

Yeah, because casual fans rewatch fights. Remember the goal of selling a ppv is getting the general public to watch so most probably didn't even see the Bradley fight.

All they need to do is show the Urango fight highlights and talk about some of the bigger name fighters he has wins over (including the most hyped guy in boxing right now) and they can sell his boxing ability. Plus he has the background to get casual fans emotionally attached.

Explain why each of the fighters your listing would be more marketable than Alexander right now. Other words, what do they bring to the table? What are their selling points?

Its crazy how overrated Alexander is. The guy loses 3 str8 fights, becomes boxings dullest fighter/personality and people still make him out to be a good fighter

They just want their hero to look flawless in another easy 70 dollar sparring match. Then they can come on here for another month and talk about how he would beat anyone in history.
